In 2009 an Internet company he founded, KnowledgeMax, became publicly traded.

Claire Sanders Swift is the Senior Vice President of the National Historical Society and an Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist and national media consultant. She is the Executive Chairman and past president of the American News Women’s Club, for which she has been the leading fundraiser for several years. Previously, Ms. Swift served as a producer for ABC News, NBC News, and MSNBC, Harpo/Paramount Pictures, eventually returning to Washington DC.
Chase Brush, Managing Editor

Chase Brush joined the magazine's staff in 2020 as Assistant Editor, when he was a fellow with the Poynter Institute, a yearlong leadership program for early-career journalists. As a multimedia journalist, he has helped grow American Heritage's social media presence and revamp its subscriber newsletters. Brush's work has appeared in publications like The New York Observer, The Kathmandu Post, and Outside Magazine.
He earned his MA from the Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and his BA in philosophy from Rutgers University.
Keith Fitzgerald, Senior Editor

Keith Fitzgerald has worked as a copy editor and reporter for the Korea Herald in Seoul, and has been published as a freelance writer since 1990 in the International Herald Tribune, L.A. Times, L.A. Weekly, L.A. Reader, New Haven Register, Outbound Asia, River's Edge, Bakunin, and other papers and journals. He was also a university writing teacher for 15 years and won the top teaching award in USC's Freshman Writing Program in L.A.
