After reading about the demise of American Heritage in The New York Times in 2007, Edwin Grosvenor led an investor group to acquire and save the company.

Since then, he has guided its strategy, revenue development, and editorial content, In 2011, he founded the nonprofit American Heritage Society to assist in fundraising created its ‘membership and donation systems, upgraded its websites, and relaunched the magazines digitally Mr. Grosvenor has 35 years of experience in publishing, web development, and ‘management of new ventures. In 2009 an Internet company he founded, KnowledgeMax, became publicly traded.

Claire Swift

Senior Vice President, Strategic Development

• Claire Sanders Swift is the Senior Vice President of the National Historical Society and an Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist and national media consultant. She is the Executive Chairman and past president of the American News Women’s Club, for which she has been the leading fundraiser for several years. Previously, Ms. Swift served as a producer for ABC News, NBC News, and MSNBC, Harpo/Paramount Pictures, eventually returning to Washington DC.
